I bought these in a size 5 which I choose by foot length measurement. They are very good looking shoes and seemed very well made but returned as they just didn't suit my feet. The size 5s were too tight across my toes (not affected by loosening laces) and my heel kept coming up despite lacing as tight as they would go. Customer service didn't have much fit information so couldn't help with whether sizing up would improve the fit. In case it helps someone else, the size 5 is roughly 8cm wide at the widest point.
I'm really enjoying these boots - they are comfortable and stylish. I wore them with thick socks or over trousers for a few days to protect my ankles, and after that they were perfectly worn in. I can wear them with trousers and skirts. My feet are quite a small size 3 but they were fine for me. A great all-round boot.
Shoes are perfect, just what I wanted and needed
I bought these boots and a pair of the flatform brogues over the past few weeks. The "leather" is gorgeous and both pairs of footwear are comfortable, if needing a little arch support. However- and this is a big however- I have worn each pair only once and yet both exhibit wear on the sole to include the peeling off of rubber. I wore my brogues the very first time to work this morning, requiring a total of 10 blocks of walking on concrete sidewalks. And yet, both shoe soles show fraying at the heel and on one shoe a piece of rubber came off. I wore the boots once, two weeks ago, walking a total of a mile in a day, and two treads were shredded on both boots. If this continues, the soles of both pairs of shoes will be destroyed within weeks. I'm not just disappointed, I'm angry and for two reasons: I paid considerable money for these shoes. And, it gives vegan footwear a bad name. I've wanted vegan shoes for a long time, in part to show people that such a choice is viable as the shoes are both beautiful and durable. But only the 1st part is true. This just gives non vegans another reason to dismiss vegan products/non leather shoes as inferior to animal products/ leather shoes. I don't know whether to keep them and let them wear out or go for the hassle of returning them, but I'm never buying products from Wills again and cannot recommend others do.
I am really sorry this happened with your boots. You should not expect this to happen.
