Our notes

We have designed our new WVSport Road Running Trainers to be super comfy, lightweight running trainers.

The Vibram® road running outsoles are designed with extra heel shock absorption with a 3.5cm heel (2.5cm heel-to-toe drop), decent toe flex and 4mm grip lugs for traction.

We chose to make them with a Strobel construction which keeps weight to a minimum and allows greater flexibility. They only weigh 525g for the pair (size 42).

Your feet stay cool and dry with breathable mesh uppers (made from recycled polyester) and 37.5® Technology linings (made from recycled polyester and nylon) proven to decrease the rate of core temperature buildup and remove moisture vapour (Oeko-Tex, Made in Green and bluesign certified).

Your feet are supported with extra cushioning around the tongue and ankles. They rest on deep removable sports insoles (made with recycled materials).

There are embroidered WVS finger pull tabs (made from recycled polyester) on the tongue and heel to help you slip them on and off easily.

Ethically made in Portugal. Certified Carbon neutral.

    The Great Strobel Disintegration

    I was looking for a new pair of running shoes when these came out. I was super excited about these, because there aren’t that many ethical options available in the running shoes market. These are vegan and made in EU, and that’s actually great.
    I’ve been running with these for maybe two months and about 50 kilometres now. They are not super fast or super bouncy, but they are completely decent for training runs. Or were.
    After this short time of use, the outsoles of both shoes are almost completely detached from the shoe. It seems that the glue that was used to hold the shoe together has failed.
    The shoes seem to be unusable and sadly that happened in very little time. This quality is not something you would expect from trainers of this price - Or for a product that is supposed to be sustainable and therefore hopefully long lasting.
    I very much hope that Will’s will tackle this quality issue.
    The second star in the rating is for this store’s great customer service and easy refund process. Thank you for that!
    I still have the disintegrated shoes, so I will try to fix them with super glue and see how that works out. But I doubt it’ll be a long lasting solution.😅

    I am so sorry this happened. We are going to pull these trainers from our website for further inspection. You should not expect this to happen.

    Would you like a full refund to be made (unless it has been made already), or would you like us to send to you a new pair when we have resolved this issue?

    For the pair you have you are welcome to keep them and have them repaired at a cobblers or you can send them back to us, and we will repair them.
