Our Notes

These are the sharpest loafers we’ve made to date. A single sculpted piece forms the upper, creating a smooth, uninterrupted profile with a natural curve that extends through the vamp and tongue. That stitched line around the toe—clean, deliberate—is known as an apron seam. It draws the eye forward and sets the silhouette apart.

The Italian vegan leather uppers (made with our signature 69% bio-based content) bring a natural sheen and soft grain that holds the structure without stiffness.

Edges are stitched and turned—every line thought through. Inside, the design stays minimal. No lining through the front keeps the shape sleek, while soft vegan suede wraps the heel for comfort where it matters.

You’re stepping onto stitched insoles lined with smooth vegan leather. Under that, memory foam cushioning containing recycled materials. The outsole flows with the same energy—grippy, flexible rubber that moves with you and lands quiet. A 2cm lift in the heel keeps your stance level. They’re good for all-day wear—across town, down to the bar, through dinner and back.

They wipe clean with a damp cloth and can be re-polished by hand to bring back the burnish when needed. A good cobbler can refresh them for years to come.

Outfit notes:Wear them with jeans and a clean tee. Add a loose shirt or cropped jacket if it’s cooler. They work with tailored trousers too, but you don’t have to dress them up. These aren’t just for the office—think weekends, evenings out, laid-back style with edge.

Upper: Italian bio-based vegan leather (62–66% plant-origin materials)
Lining: Unlined forefoot with a soft vegan suede heel lining and a vegan suede-lined footbed – sleek through the front, with cushioned comfort underfoot and at the heel
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: TR (thermoplastic rubber)

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Water-resistant for everyday wear – keeps you dry in rain, puddles, wet streets, and most winter conditions. Just avoid heavy saturation or full submersion.

Our Italian Bio-Based Vegan Leather

Made with Italian bio-based vegan leather containing 62–66% plant-origin renewable materials. Produced in Italy using modern water-based, non-solvent processes, combining a viscose backing with a next-generation bio-based polyurethane surface.

Care Guide

Clean: Wipe the uppers and outsoles with warm soapy water and a cloth or soft brush, then towel dry thoroughly. Polish: A synthetic polish can be used to bring back shine and refresh the colour — any synthetic product should work fine, applied as described in its instructions. If your footwear has a burnished effect on the toes and sides (we apply a darker polish to some of our brown vegan leather uppers for effect), this is best reapplied by a cobbler, or at home using a darker shade of polish worked around the toes and sides. Drying: You can dry your footwear on top of or near a radiator or other heat source. Depending on the heat, it can take a few days to dry out the insides fully. Never put your footwear in the washing machine. Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, especially inside boots, as this can damage the water resistance and let microbes develop, causing a smell. If this happens, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until the smell stops. In extreme cases, wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and reapply the deodoriser. Waterproofing (optional): You can treat the uppers with a waterproofing spray to improve durability, stain resistance and water resistance. We recommend doing this every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard waterproofing sprays work fine on our vegan leather.
