Our Notes

We love boots with big outsoles. Here is our latest addition to our collection with a 4cm / 1.6-inch heel height (3cm / 1.2 inches at the front) and a super deep tread pattern. This gives you an elevated height, comfy shock absorption, a grippy tread and outsoles with long durability.The 17 eye uppers are cut to sit on the top of your calves (size 37 measures 34cm / 13.4 inches from where your foot sits to the top of the shaft). They are crafted with a beautiful, heavier-weight vegan suede with a rougher, more traditional feel than our usual vegan suede. When you run your hand on the boot, you can feel the grain and see it move with your motion. There are interior top-to-bottom YKK zips, so you can easily pull them on and off. Two types of super-soft vegan suede fully line the inside for a luxe feel against bare skin or trousers. They are finished with our signature WVS embroidered finger pull tabs on the backs (made from recycled polyester), a WVS emboss on the outsole and contrast tan stitching around the outsole to match the lining.

Upper: Italian vegan nubuck (100% PU) – one of the finest vegan suedes you can get, Ecolabel certified with a soft, luxurious feel
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Chunky lugged TR track sole – deep tread for solid grip underfoot, with the bold, stacked look that defines the style
Laces: Long, extra-strong laces (100% recycled polyester), with metal lace tips (100% zamak — a durable zinc alloy)

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Hardware: Hidden metal eyelets sit behind the vegan leather for a clean finish, with metal lace tips — both 100% zamak (a durable zinc alloy). A full top-to-bottom zip on the inside of each boot means they slip on and off easily
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.
