Our Notes

A classic low-western silhouette crafted from sand-toned vegan suede with a rough hand-feel and visible grain. The uppers wipe clean with a damp cloth or soapy water.

Made in a small, family-run factory in Portugal that’s been producing Western boots for decades. Finished with classic stitched detailing across the uppers, a soft vegan suede lining for all-day comfort, and a full inside zip for easy on and off. A finger tab at the top helps you slip them on smoothly.

The footbed is cushioned with non-crush recycled rubber insoles that hold their shape and support over time. A 1cm front platform balances the 4cm heel at the rear, giving subtle lift with solid stability.

Outsoles are crafted from compressed wood-effect cardboard, lined with a rubber strip for grip and durability—easily replaceable by a cobbler when worn. Height from footbed to top: 15cm (size 37).

Materials

Upper: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU)
Lining: Portuguese vegan suede (100% PU) – soft and comfortable against the foot, with a breathable suede texture that helps keep feet fresh
Insole: Cushioned layered insole – a soft memory foam top layer over a recycled PU base (20% recycled PU) cut to fit the shoe
Outsole: Stacked wood-effect outsole and heel in Tunit – a hard-wearing rubber-resin compound

Construction & Features

Shank: Steel shank for stability and support through the arch
Hardware: A full top-to-bottom zip on the inside of each boot, so they slip on and off easily
Construction: Mounted (cemented) construction – the upper is lasted to shape and the outsole bonded directly underneath. The most widely used construction method in footwear, it gives a clean, flexible build, though the outsole isn't easily resoled
Water Resistance: Not water-resistant – vegan suede will soak through in rain, though it won't mark or spoil when wet. Best kept for dry days, and treat with a waterproofing spray if you want some protection.

Fit: Sizes slightly smaller due to the Western silhouette. Narrow to regular feet: choose your usual size. Wider feet: size up. Half sizes: up for regular/wide, down for narrow.

Care Guide

Clean: For marks and stubborn stains, use warm soapy water with a cloth or soft brush, working gently over the surface. Towel dry afterwards.Brush: Once fully dry, run a suede brush over the uppers to lift the nap back up and restore the soft, even texture. Brushing in one direction gives the most consistent finish.Drying: Always let your footwear dry naturally, away from direct heat sources like radiators, as too much heat can stiffen or damage the suede. Stuff with paper or a shoe tree to help hold the shape while drying, and allow a day or two for the insides to dry fully before wearing again.Deodorising: Don't let your footwear stay damp between wears, as this creates an environment where microbes can develop and cause smells. If a smell does develop, dry the footwear thoroughly and use a footwear deodoriser until it clears. In extreme cases you can wash the insides out with warm soapy water, then dry fully and apply the deodoriser again.Waterproofing (optional): If you'd like some added protection, you can treat the suede with a waterproofing spray every 2–3 months depending on use — most standard sprays work fine on vegan suede. This is optional, and bear in mind vegan suede is naturally an open-textured material that isn't designed to be water-resistant.
