A long puffer is the one coat that solves winter outright — it covers you from the shoulders to the shins, seals the cold out at both ends, and does it without any fuss. Ours is a clean black, cut long and quilted in horizontal channels, with a generous hood that pulls up easily and a two-way zip that runs the full length. Made in small batches in Italy from Eco Circle™ 100% recycled polyester.

The warmth comes from the fill: 100% recycled polyamide padding, made in Italy, quilted through the body, sleeves and hood so there are no cold spots. The zip fastens right up over the chin for extra cover when the weather turns, and there are two zipped pockets to keep your hands and essentials warm. The fabric has a matt finish with a slight sheen — it feels substantial and stands up to snags and everyday wear. It isn't waterproof, but it holds off light rain and snow and keeps you dry in most conditions.

Long puffers wear easily because they do the work for you. Over jeans and boots, over joggers and trainers, over anything that needs a warm layer on top — you zip it up and go. Black takes everything underneath, so let it be the practical outer shell and don't think twice about what's beneath it.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Italy under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Caring for your puffer jacket: Machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Fasten the zips first, use a liquid detergent rather than powder — powder leaves residue in the baffles — and skip softener and bleach. Run an extra rinse to clear the detergent out of the filling. Drying is the part that matters: synthetic fill clumps as it dries, so either tumble dry on low with a couple of dryer balls to break it up, or dry flat and pull the clumps apart by hand every hour or so until the loft comes back. Don't iron, and don't hang a wet puffer to dry — the weight of the water drags the fill to the hem.

How to take your measurements

Using a flexible tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape close under the arms and flat across the back. Measure your waist at its narrowest point, and your hips around the fullest part. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up.

We hand measure all items to help you find the right fit. These are the measurements of the garment itself, not body measurements, so the easiest way to use them is to compare them with a similar garment you already own. Lay it flat and take all measurements from the outside.

Our clothing is handmade, so there may be minor variations from piece to piece that won't affect the overall fit.
