A V-neck cable cardigan is one of the most useful knits you can own — soft, easy, smart enough to layer over a shirt and relaxed enough to throw on over a tee. Ours is a marl grey with a cable pattern running through the body and sleeves, cut long and easy with a V-neck, ribbed cuffs and hem, two patch pockets and a button front.

It's knitted in Italy from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content — a mix of offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing, and recycled plastic bottles, all spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It closes on five matt-finish buttons made from recycled compressed paper.

Grey marl is one of the easy neutrals — it sits against everything. Wear it open over a black tee with jeans and boots, or buttoned over a shirt for something more put-together. It's roomy and relaxed, the kind of knit you reach for when you want a layer that's warm without being heavy.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Italy under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Caring for your knitwear: Wash less than you think you need to. Airing a knit overnight between wears does more for it than a wash cycle does. When it does need washing, turn it inside out and use a cool wash at 30°C on a gentle or wool cycle with a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibres and dulls the surface over time. Never tumble dry. Reshape the garment while damp and dry it flat rather than on a hanger, which pulls the shoulders and lengthens the body. Store folded for the same reason. Pilling is normal on any blended knit and comes away easily with a comb or fabric shaver.

How to take your measurements

Using a flexible tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape close under the arms and flat across the back. Measure your waist at its narrowest point, and your hips around the fullest part. If you fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up.

We hand measure all items to help you find the right fit. These are the measurements of the garment itself, not body measurements, so the easiest way to use them is to compare them with a similar garment you already own. Lay it flat and take all measurements from the outside.

Our clothing is handmade, so there may be minor variations from piece to piece that won't affect the overall fit.
