Classic 3.5cm Belt

The Classic 3.5cm Belt is a minimal, clean-lined belt built around a squared brushed silver frame with a straight prong. Nothing on it but the shape, which is what lets it sit quietly at the waist and work with whatever's above it. There's a solid weight to it in the hand. At 3.5cm the strap has the width for denim and chinos and enough restraint to go under a suit, and the end is tapered to a soft point so it lies flat through the keeper. It's one of the first belts we made, launched in 2014, and it's been in the collection ever since. In Black, Tan, Light Tan, Chestnut and Dark Brown, with a Dark Brown Vegan Suede.

The strap is made from two pieces of our signature bio-based vegan leather, glued and then stitched together to form a strap that's thick, durable and flexible. The edges are skived down before they're closed, so the strap tapers at the sides rather than sitting square, and the strap and keeper are double-stitched along their length. The Dark Brown Vegan Suede is built the same way, with Italian vegan nubuck (100% polyurethane) facing out over the bio-based vegan leather at the back, soft under the hand with a fine even nap.
