- Cotton canvas (100% cotton), smooth to the hand and closely woven
- Hardware
- Two solid roller buckles cast in zamak, a zinc alloy, hold the long front straps down over the flap, with bar-tack stitching where the straps meet the body to take the load. The rollers turn as you feed the strap through, so the tongue drops into the hole without forcing it. There's a good run of holes punched down each strap, which is what lets the bag adjust from 48cm down to 38cm as you fill or empty it. Under the flap the main compartment closes with a drawcord, running through metal eyelets set around the opening and pulling tight through a vegan leather tab. Pull the cord, drop the flap, buckle it down — or leave the buckles set and just work the cord for a quick look inside. A zip runs down the side of the front pocket, and there's a second inside the lid. Each pull carries a vegan leather tab. The shoulder straps adjust through sliders at the base, and there's a grab handle at the top

- Buckled front straps over a vegan leather drawcord. Pull the cord tight through the eyelets to close the opening, drop the flap, and buckle the straps down over it. Set the buckles at the holes that suit you and leave them there, and the cord alone gets you in and out for a quick look inside

Made with Italian bio-based vegan leather containing 62–66% plant-origin renewable materials. Produced in Italy using modern water-based, non-solvent processes, combining a viscose backing with a next-generation bio-based polyurethane surface.
Spot clean the canvas with a soft cloth and warm soapy water, working the mark rather than soaking the panel, then let it dry naturally away from radiators and direct sun. Don't machine wash it: the vegan leather trim won't take it and the canvas can shrink against the stitching. Empty it and let it dry through if it gets caught in the rain. Wipe the vegan leather straps and trim with a damp cloth, no solvents or polish. Store it in its cotton dust bag with a little padding inside to hold the shape
