The Large Zipper Wallet is cut in a patent croc-embossed vegan leather, the pattern pressed into the surface under a high-shine finish, so it holds the light in hard breaks across the panels. It's long enough for notes to lie flat and deep enough to work as a small clutch, and the wristlet loop carries it on its own through an evening.

A metal zip runs around three sides and opens the wallet out flat, so you can see everything at once rather than reaching down into a gap. The teeth are a heavy gauge for the size of the piece and the whole line holds the shape when it's shut. The pull carries a vegan leather tab, cut long enough to take between two fingers.

Inside there are eight card slots, each taking two cards, and two wide slots for notes and receipts, with a zipped compartment for coins between them. A WVS marque is embossed on the front, blind rather than foiled.

Construction
Cut and closed by hand, with the panels turned and stitched rather than bonded, so the edges are finished on the inside and there's no raw cut showing. The layers are skived down where they meet the folds, which keeps it slim when it's closed. Edge stitching runs through the outer panels, with bar-tacks at the points that take the wear

Wipe the outside with a soft damp cloth and let it dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sun. No solvents, no polish, no heat. Try not to overfill it, since stretching the card slots past their shape is what wears a wallet out first. Store it in its cotton dust bag when it's not in use
