Mock Croc Monk Straps

I couldn’t wear them. The buckles are cheap with one buckle arriving broken.

These are quality shoes, well-made and stylish. I do find the Will's shoes sizing a bit odd, however. I bought a pair of the track-sole brogues in the same size as the monks, my usual size. The sizing of the brogues was roomy to the point that I was unable to make them work and I had to give them away. By contrast, the monks, in the same size, are almost too small: at the toe, they are a little too short and narrow, at the heel of the foot, too wide and high, as if made for a foot with a high arch. Adhesive heel-grips have helped, but the shoes do still slip a little. A small change to the design, so that the straps are able to be buckled more tightly, would really assist a lot. I am managing to find the monks reasonably comfortable, nevertheless, as long as my socks or stockings are fairly thin. As ever, the Will's customer service was excellent.

I am still waiting on the part to arrive. I would think I would like to get a refund and return the shoes.

I love these! Normally wear pull-on styles so having to get used to buckles again (last time was at school a long time ago) but so well worth it - they look stylish and quirky, are comfortable and smart and I feel great every time I wear them.
