Recycled Knit Cardigan

A fine-gauge cardigan cut close and light, with a deep V neckline and seven buttons running down the front. The knit is smooth and even with enough weight to hang properly, and it's cut to sit near the body rather than loose, so it works under a jacket as well as it does on its own.

It's made from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content: offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing and recycled plastic bottles, spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It's knitted in small batches in a family-owned factory in Tuscany. Ribbing runs at the cuffs and hem and up the front edges.

Navy takes almost anything, so wear it open over a white tee with mid-blue denim and trainers, or buttoned over a shirt with grey trousers and derbies. It also works over a polo with chinos and loafers when you want it neat. It goes with grey, brown and black equally well, so the rest of the outfit sets the register.
