Recycled Zip Up Knit Hoodie

A zip-through hooded top knitted in a fine gauge, so it has the softness and the fall of knitwear rather than the structure of a sweatshirt. The stitch is close and slightly textured, which gives it a quiet depth in black, and it's cut long and lean through the body with a hood that sits soft against the neck.

It's made from a blend of 40% Better Cotton Initiative cotton and 60% recycled content: offcuts from weaving and knitting mills, post-consumer clothing and recycled plastic bottles, spun back into yarn rather than thrown out. It's knitted in small batches in a family-owned factory in Tuscany.

The zip runs the full length of the front in Italian zamak, a durable zinc alloy, with a drawcord through the hood. Ribbing at the cuffs and hem holds the shape where a knit this fine would otherwise drop.

Wear it under a bomber or a puffer as a mid-layer, or on its own over a tee with straight jeans and trainers. Zipped up with tailored trousers and boots it reads closer to a fine knit than a hoodie. It's a piece that changes register depending on what goes over it, so it works either way.
