Our Notes

There's a particular ease to an oversized coat — it drapes rather than fits, throws on over anything, and turns a shirt and jeans into a considered outfit without any effort. Ours is long and softly tailored with a generous shawl collar that can be worn up around the neck or open and relaxed, cut in a soft vegan wool made in Italy from 100% recycled PET.

The vegan wool has a soft hand feel, and behind it sits a 60g thermal lining in 100% recycled polyester to keep the warmth in. The loose cut is made for layering — room to go over a jumper or a chunky knit without a pull anywhere — and it closes on a matt-finish button in recycled compressed paper and resin, set over two interior buttons so the front sits clean. Two deep cotton-lined pockets for your hands and your essentials, and inside, a smooth viscose lining that lets it slip on and off over knitwear.

Wear it open and easy over a white shirt and wide jeans, or belted-in over tailoring for something sharper. The oversized cut means it works loose and unstructured, so let it fall the way it wants to — it's the kind of coat that does the styling for you.

This product is certified carbon-neutral and ethically made in Italy under EU employment, discrimination and health & safety law. It's vegan from the uppers and linings to the glue. It's delivered to you through our carbon-neutral supply chain in plastic-free paper and cardboard packaging.

Construction & Features

Water Resistance: Showerproof rather than waterproof. The dense recycled polyester blend face will hold off light rain for a short while, but it soaks through in sustained or heavy wet and takes time to dry. Best with an umbrella in proper rain
Insulation: 60g thermal lining made from 100% recycled polyester, working with the weight of the outer cloth to keep the coat warm (100% rPET certified to ISO 14021:2016, Oeko Tex® standard 100 certificate 960031.0)

Care Guide

Caring for your vegan wool coat: Dry clean. A tailored coat carries interfacing, canvassing and structure through the chest and shoulders, and washing distorts all of it in a way that can't be pressed back. Between cleans, a soft clothes brush after wear lifts dust and keeps the surface fresh, and small marks lift with a barely damp cloth and patience. Hang on a broad wooden or shaped hanger so the shoulders hold their line, and steam rather than iron to drop creases. Store in a breathable garment bag rather than plastic, which traps moisture.
