I have both the normal country boots, which I bought a couple of years ago and which are still going well, and now the insulated version too, both in size 8. I love them both and have had many compliments, even though I didn’t buy them for fashion but for walking my dog in mud etc! If I had to choose which ones are best (for me), I’d definitely say the insulated pair, as they fit more snuggly (and I don’t need two pairs of socks and leg warmers to keep them in place), and I love that they’re matte (more ‘suede-y’ than the others). Oh yes, and they’re lovely and warm too!
Brilliant, just the job for dog walking.they are really cosy and snug and are a very good fit.
I have struggled for years to find comfortable walking boots. Based on the reviews of the none insulated boots I was worried that these would not be waterproof/ mud proof but I found myself deciding to take the risk when I realised I was putting off hiking due to how heavy my existing shoes are.
I wore them today for the first time, it was a risk as it was a particularly muddy 11 mile walk accross fields and woodland. These boots were amazing. My feet remained dry despite walking accross streams and being ankle deep in mud. They remained confotable and did not require breaking in whilst also providing good ankle support.
